As rather unusual name, people often are confused on its proper spelling. You will see some Qualcom Stadium, others double up on the "l" (i.e.- Quallcom Stadium), and others still are convinced it should be spelled Quallcomm Stadium.
So which is the correct spelling - Qualcom, Quallcom or Quallcomm? Surprisingly, neither of them! The correct spelling is Qualcomm Stadium, which is named after the San Diego wireless telecommunications company. Qualcomm Corp paid $18 million for the naming rights in 1997 and hence the name was changed.
